Ashdod has a municipal Senior Citizens' Council, a 60+ community, Ironit 'Golden Time' clubs at its community centres and, for olim, a senior-olim coordinator and Russian-language clubs at Beit HaOleh Eitan. The city also has a government service centre for Holocaust survivors' rights.

The absorption department has a coordinator for senior olim, and Beit HaOleh Eitan runs Hebrew classes, exercise, choirs, an association of Holocaust survivors and a Russian library.
